Fargo Us Travel
National Travel and Tourism Week is just around the corner and, for the first time ever, I encourage you not to travel. Preparing for all the financial aspects of your holiday may not be the most entertaining part of planning your trip.
If you inform your credit card company when you are travelling, it is usually a yes, but carrying out travel advice requires a little more footwork than those from other banks. It is worth it if you want to avoid not being able to use your card when travelling. Checkout counters are never fun, and if you refuse a transaction at the checkout (or are called by the card issuer to verify a purchase), the chance of not being informed of your travel plans by credit card is reduced.
If you are already in the country and are unsure how to file a travel alert, call the number on the back of your card and send it. If you are already out of the country and have been advised of your travel plans by your exhibitor, you can also call Chase to collect money.
To keep Wells Fargo informed of your travel plans, you can log into your online account, use the bank's mobile app, or call the number on the back of your card. If you are with Wells Fargo Bank, log in and add your itinerary online or on your mobile device. You can also create a Wells Fargo Travel Advisory if you want to take your Wells Fargo credit card to an event in the United States, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Japan, South Africa and / or Australia.
When you submit your travel warning, you should tell your exhibitor exactly where you are travelling and when and where you are travelling. Let your card issuer know when, where and how your cards will be collected and you can add scheduled transfers.
It's also a good idea to tell Wells Fargo which credit cards you'll take with you on your trip if you have more than one you bring with you. Make sure that someone at home who can be reached during your holiday has your credit card information.
